Quick overview

Triphala is an ancient ayurvedic herbal combination of fruits of three plant species Harithaki (Terminalia Chebula) Bibhitaki (Terminalia bellerica) and Amalaki (Emblica officinalis). They are rich in antioxidants and thus delays the aging process of the skin. They also have skin-protective action that helps in the re-building of structural proteins present in the skin tissue and stimulates the anti-aging genes. They mildly cleanse, exfoliate, and clears the blemishes on the skin, making it naturally youthful and glowing.

Nalpamara is a millennia-old ayurvedic formulation of four ficus tree barks Vata (Ficus bengalensis), Plaksha (Ficus macrocarpa) Udumbara (Ficus racemose) Ashwatha (Ficus religiosa) that is used to treat skin diseases. They are known to treat medical skin conditions like Pruritis, eczema, dermatitis, etc. They also remove tan, pigmentation, blemishes, dark spots, and uneven skin tone.

Triphala (Sanskrit; tri means three and phala means fruits) is a traditional revered ayurvedic herbal formulation consisting of dried fruits of three plant species  Emblica officinalis (Family Euphorbiaceae), Terminalia bellerica (Family Combretaceae), and Terminalia chebula (Family Combretaceae) that are native to the Indian subcontinent. It is classified as a rasayana in Ayurvedic medicine as it promotes longevity and rejuvenation. They increase the levels of collagen and elastin, increase cellular antioxidants, and reduce hyperpigmentation, and thus acts as a powerful anti-aging agent.

The tree bark is rich in vitamin K. Thus, it helps in improving the complexion, texture, and overall appearance of skin. They also reduce the inflammation and heal the skin

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is extracted from the kernel of mature coconuts harvested from the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera). Coconut is composed of many free fatty acids including lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, caprylic acid, capric acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, and stearic acid, which is inevitable for healthy skin and hair. Coconut oil has been shown to be effective and safe to be applied as moisturizers for mild to moderate xerosis. The topical application of coconut oil protects the skin from UV radiation.
Monolaurin, a monoglyceride derived from lauric acid displays antimicrobial activity. It helps in keeping the skin soft and smooth, prevents premature aging of the skin. It also removes dandruff, helps in checking greying and hair fall. It also works wonders on stretch marks and scars.

Castor Oil

Castor oil is extracted from the seeds of Ricins communis plant.
Ricinoleic acid in castor oil has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that help in reducing acne. Castor oil contains triglycerides that clean and moisturizes the skin. It also enhances the overall texture of skin and evens out the uneven skin tone.
